Reading Refugee Support Group is hosting the Reading bid for City of Sanctuary status.

We are joined by The Mustard Tree Foundation, British Red Cross, the Alliance for Cohesion and Racial Equality, Reading Voluntary Action and the Reading International Solidarity Centre.

We are now very proud to have the backing and support of Reading Borough Council who agreed to sign our declaration on 17th October 2016. We look forward to working with them in the next few months.

We are also thrilled to have the support of the Right Worshipful Mayor of Reading

We still have much work to do and look forward to hearing from other organisations across Reading who wish to join us.
